    The Lead Analyst will be required to partner with US counterparts to develop and drive analysis in the areas of Cost & FCO.

    Candidate should have knowledge and hands on experience to play the following role:


    Optimization by evaluating First Cost and other landing costanalyze impact of tariff and commodity prices on product costinsights and recommendations to business for driving better negotiations with vendorsIntelligence to the negotiation teamon knowledge on product clustering and segmentation to evaluate similar items along with Parent SKUon knowledge on various forecasting techniques e.g.

    Time Series, Regression changes in reports and other modifications including conducting ad hoc analysis and reports building as per business needson time and accurate delivery of all cost related requestsa go-to point for all data and insights needs for the present insights rather than providing numbers to business.independently and effectively with stakeholders on scope of project, presenting results, reconciliation of data etc.

    Pursues self-development and effective relationships with team members and partners


    Qualifications & Qualities:


    Graduate or Post-graduate (MBA Finance Or degree in quantitative fields like Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics)7-9 years of experience with 4-5 years with a Retail businessUnderstanding of retail business particularly in area of Product Sourcing, Cost and PricingExperience of working on vendor cost management, price negotiation insights will be preferredStrong data collection, collation and cleansing skills using tools like SQL, SAS or other tools like R, PythonStrong knowledge of advanced MS Excel & VBAStrong knowledge on Statistical Techniques like Clustering, K-Means, Market Basket, Forecasting, RegressionKnowledge of any one of the data visualization tools like MicroStrategy, Power BIStrong independent ownership and drive to make sure projects/deliverables are pushed throughStrong communication skills – being able to manage upward, peers and offshore teams.
