    Role Description

    1. To handle Refit Projects.

    2. To finalize the scope of work to offload to vendors in coordination with Procurement.

    3. To attend Price Negotiate Committee (PNC)meetings of projects

    4. Prepare & maintain all necessary Project Documentation for all the projects

    5. Day-to-day interaction with customers for the updated plan of work and information of work completion.

    6. Follow-up for work-completion certificates

    7. Attending Guarantee defects of refit vessel & resolution of the same.

    8. Follow-up with the workshop for job work completion of refit-components

    9. Resource management of Manpower in an efficient manner

    10. Preparing project schedule

    11. Adhere to the timings and discipline, urge Workers &Engineers for the same.

    12. Planning &Making sure that the project is in line with all of its requirements, as well as ensuring that all targets are met, for timely completion.& ensure no-rework

    13. Follow Safety norms & regulations & urge Workers & Engineers for the same.

    14. To take care of all workers in terms of work & welfare

    15. Sending monthly Project status report

    16. Technical coordination for Projects.

    17. Complies with the company's SOPs, policies & processes

    Qualifications

    • Retired MCERA or CHERA from the Indian Navy or
    • B.E or B.Tech/Equivalent to B. Tech with MBA in Operations from a reputed university.

    Age preferred - 35 to 40/42 Yrs

    Experience- Min 5 years (Preferably in the Marine industry) of previous experience as an Operations Manager.

    1. Should possess Technical and Commercial knowledge

    2. Preferable with knowledge of Zoho software

    3. Ability to drive the project from planning to closure

    4. Willingness to visit workshops, shipyards, ship owners, marine consultants, and engineering cos. Offshore vessel owners like the Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, etc
