- Qualification: Full-time BSc/Bachelor in Audiology required.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Audiology, preferably in a large-scale steel industry.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in Industrial Audiology within large-scale steel industries is essential.
- Noise Hazard Management:
- Identify employees at risk of noise exposure through regular assessments.
- Conduct noise dosimeter surveys to assess individual noise exposure levels.
- Audiometric Examinations:
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct audiometric tests for high-risk employees to monitor hearing health.
- Provide individual counseling on hearing levels and preventive measures to maintain employee well-being.
- Reporting & Follow-ups:
- Prepare department-wise reports with recommendations and action plans to ensure compliance and improvement.
- Refer employees for further ENT evaluations when necessary to address specific concerns.
- Awareness & Training:
- Conduct noise hazard prevention and hearing conservation programs to educate employees on safe practices.
- Visit workplaces to suggest noise control measures and promote proper use of hearing protection devices.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and calibrate audiometers, sound level meters, and other tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Compliance & Data Management:
- Stay updated with state regulations to ensure compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Perform trend analysis of test reports to identify areas for improvement and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Manage data and maintain accurate records to support decision-making and reporting.
