Job Description – Senior Product Manager – Sustainability Solutions

Summary:

About the Role:

This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to lead the product strategy across three interconnected areas: sustainability, ESG, and procurement. You'll be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to execution and launch. By working closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales), you'll ensure our products are not only innovative but also meet customer needs and address the evolving ESG and procurement landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive product vision and roadmap that aligns with the company's sustainability, ESG, and responsible procurement goals.
• Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities that address unmet needs in these areas.
• Prioritize product enhancements and features based on strategic value, customer impact and overall company strategy.

Product Development:

• Lead the product development process across all three domains, defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Foster collaboration between engineering and design teams to ensure products are built to the highest quality standards and promote sustainable practices within the supply chain.
• Act as a product evangelist within the company, communicating product updates and value propositions to internal stakeholders.

Product Success:

• Develop go-to-market strategies for all product offerings, encompassing pricing, positioning, and messaging.
• Work closely with the customer support team to gather customer feedback, monitor product adoption & engagement metrics and address product-related issues and concerns.
• Track product performance using relevant ESG and procurement metrics, iterating based on user feedback and market data.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of bringing innovative solutions to market.
• Deep understanding of sustainability principles, ESG frameworks, and responsible procurement practices.
• Passion for sustainability and a desire to make a significant impact on the environment and society.
• Full-time MBA/PGDM from a reputed business school
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive product decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, product management frameworks and UX/UI principles.
• Familiarity with product management tools, such as - JIRA, Asana, Mind Maps
