Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
Identify learning needs across clinical, nursing, paramedical, and non-clinical departments.
- Conduct skill gap assessments aligned with hospital quality standards and accreditation requirements.
Develop annual training calendars based on business priorities.
Training Program Execution
Plan and coordinate induction programs for new joiners.
- Organize internal and external training sessions (technical, behavioral, compliance, leadership).
- Ensure mandatory trainings (BLS, ACLS, Fire Safety, Infection Control, POSH, NABH, etc.) are conducted as per schedule.
Liaise with internal subject matter experts and external trainers.
Learning Strategy & Content Development
Develop structured L&D modules for soft skills, patient experience, communication, leadership, and service excellence.
- Support digital learning initiatives (e-learning modules, LMS coordination, webinars).
Maintain training manuals, SOP-based learning tools, and competency frameworks.
Performance & Capability Development
Assist in implementing competency mapping and succession planning.
- Support performance management processes by linking training to appraisal outcomes.
Track post-training effectiveness through feedback and impact assessment.
Compliance & Accreditation Support
Maintain training records and documentation required for NABH and other regulatory audits.
Ensure all statutory and compliance-related training documentation is audit-ready.
Reporting & MIS
Prepare monthly L&D reports (training hours, coverage, effectiveness score, cost tracking).
Monitor training KPIs and present insights to leadership.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
Support cultural transformation initiatives.
- Conduct workshops on patient-centric care and service excellence.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA / PGDM in HR (preferred).
- 4 + years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in healthcare/hospital industry.
- Experience handling hospital-based training programs and accreditation requirements is preferred.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
