Job Overview: BodhiTree School of Music is seeking a dedicated and passionate Piano Teacher to join our team. As a Piano Teacher, you will work with students of various skill levels and ages, helping them to develop their musical abilities and appreciation for the piano.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality piano lessons to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced.
• Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's individual needs and goals.
• Teach music theory, technique, and performance practices.
• Encourage and motivate students to practice and improve their piano skills.
• Prepare students for recitals, exams, and other performance opportunities.
• Offer constructive feedback to students to help them progress and achieve their goals.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and music trends.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a piano teacher, with a track record of successful student outcomes.
• Proficiency in piano performance and music theory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their musical goals.
• A degree in music or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with different teaching methods and techniques.
• Availability to teach a variety of time slots, including evenings and weekends.
