    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with a strong background in automation testing using Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on leading automation efforts within agile development environments. This role requires exceptional technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Lead the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans and strategies.
    3. Mentor and guide QA team members in automation best practices, coding standards, and testing techniques.
    4. Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks to streamline testing processes and maximize test coverage.
    5. Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and maintainability of automated test scripts.
    6. Analyze test results and work closely with development teams to identify and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
    7. Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the automation framework and testing capabilities.
    8. Lead efforts to improve overall test efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability through process enhancements and automation innovations.
    9. Communicate test progress, test results, and quality metrics to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    10. Drive a culture of quality throughout the organization by promoting best practices, conducting training sessions, and advocating for quality initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
    3. Proven expertise in automation testing using Java programming language and Selenium WebDriver.
    4. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
    5. Experience leading automation efforts and mentoring junior team members.
    6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
    8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    9. Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo is a plus.
    10. ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is desirable.
