    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Arka located in Navi Mumbai. The primary responsibility will be to sell our specialised shows and advertising opportunities to potential clients, such as Ayurvedic programs to healthcare professionals and "Make in India, Made in India" showcases to local manufacturers. This role demands a blend of sales expertise and a passion for our cultural mission. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, maintaining customer relationships, generating leads, and overseeing sales operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Client Acquisition: Pursue and connect with potential clients (Ayurvedic doctors, local manufacturers, etc.) for program ads and sponsorships.
    • Sales Presentations: Craft and present impactful sales pitches highlighting our programs' benefits.
    • Market Research: Identify sales leads and trends to keep our offerings competitive.
    • Relationship Management: Cultivate lasting client relationships for ongoing satisfaction.
    • Lead Generation: Generate new sales leads through networking, research, and marketing initiatives to fuel the sales pipeline.
    • Revenue Goals: Achieve and surpass sales targets to drive Shashwat TV's success.
    • Collaboration: Align with marketing and content teams to enhance sales efforts.

    Qualifications

    • Proven sales experience in media, publishing, or a related field, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
    • Deep understanding of the media landscape and sales processes.
    • Familiarity with Bharatiya culture and values, with a passion for promoting local heritage and products.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
