    Description
    Purpose/Function of the role

    This position will be responsible for driving the Raw material sourcing and planning function.

    This is a new vertical for the organization and incumbent will be responsible designing the complete sourcing structure, the way of buying and monthly buying plan.

    This position will be responsible of end-to-end planning of full catalogue and ensuring timely deliveries to ensure zero production stoppages, working closely with Raw material suppliers and manufacturing partners.


    • Deriving the stock norms and ensuring material availability as per the norms at all manufacturing location on time.
    • Interacting with suppliers and understanding the market.
    • Price benchmarking as per the index and market trends.
    • Supplier performance evaluation and ensuring OTIF performance.
    • Driving stock Quality and Vigilant on slow moving and potential obsolete raw materials and driving different stake holders for liquidation.
    • Working closely with other stake holding functions to design right MOQ, pack size and onboarding right supplier base working closely with R&D.
    Essential/Preferred Attributes

    • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in raw material/chemical sourcing and planning.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG sector and chemical industry. Cosmetics and beauty will be an added advantage.
    • Have an understanding of the commodity, market and raw materials. (Candidates not having above attributes needn't apply).
    • Must be familiar with SAP and SaaS based portals transactions.
    • Must have logical reasoning and aptitude. Should have traits of ownership and go beyond attitude.
    • Well versed in Data handling (SAP, MIS, Excel, Dashboards). Should be good in numbers and excel skills.
    • Good negotiation and influencing skills, so as to get the job done with both internal as well as external stakeholders.
    • Excellent Cross functional team working skills.
    Qualification

    • B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering graduate is a must. MBA will be an added advantage.
