Record to Report SAP Treasury Analyst

Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Record to Report Analyst – SAP Treasury will be responsible for the implementation and support of key Treasury processes in 3M's SAP ERP environment. The successful candidate will possess a strong combination of analytical and technical skills and will design best practice SAP solutions in close collaboration with business counterparts and IT team members. The position will include working across multiple areas and solutions to support both production and new releases of SAP ERP within 3M.

The candidate should have experience with the following configuration areas within the following SAP ERP modules:

• Banking and Cash Management
• Foreign Exchange
• In-house Cash Management
• Treasury Master Data
• Transaction Manager
• Bank Communication Management including DMEE.
• The person hired for this position must also understand the integration of SAP Treasury with other module / process areas, including SAP FI.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in implementing / deploying SAP Treasury functionality.
• Execute and deliver SAP Solutions to Treasury Operations through the leadership of process design and configuration, which meet defined global business objectives and requirements.
• Collaborate with business counterparts in the design, development, testing and delivery of SAP standard treasury SAP Solutions.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues, team members and cross functional teams in application design, development, integration, testing and deployment of SAP Solutions.
• Design, create, test and document the configuration of SAP Treasury modules to support global business requirements and performance goals.
• Work with 3M business areas and IT colleagues to define the overall application and technical requirements.
• Ensure the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operational requirements.
• Identify and help resolve design issues, participates and provides critique for design reviews.
• Advocate recommended process design changes within their process community.
• Support adherence to business and program objectives and program mission.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university with concentration in Accounting or Management Information Systems.
• Strong Banking knowledge with respect to payment methods.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience with SAP configuration and design in SAP Finance & Controlling, working within the ASAP or a similar SDLC methodology
• A minimum of 1 year experience with SAP configuration and design in SAP Treasury (understand or basic knowledge)
• Understands SAP Treasury and bank statements around it.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience producing business process, configuration, and WRICEF functional design documentation with high quality.
• A minimum 3 years' experience with MS Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with agile/iterative development methodologies to deliver SAP WRICEF objects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Educational or professional background in Finance or Accounting, including a CPA or CMA designation.
• A minimum 1-year experience with international or global SAP deployments.
• Strong grasp of integration between SAP Treasury and SAP Financial Accounting (FI).
• Experience with the following tools: SAP Solution Manager, Jira and Active Control.
