Role andResponsibilities:
The Senior EHS Specialistwill be based in Pune and should have 815 years of experience inthe field. The salary offered is up to 30 lpa. The ideal candidatemust have a specialization in EHS with a graduate or postgraduatedegree from premier institutes in Industrial Safety. They shouldpossess expertise in process/industrial safety from leadingmanufacturing industries. The key accountabilities of this roleinclude:

• Advising environmental health andsafety leaders and operations to execute programs and mitigaterisks at the site and subregions.
• Acting as thetechnical expert to build capabilities at the sites and subregionsensuring execution of environmental health and safety requirementsand resolution of specific challenges andissues.
• Leading and ensuring full complianceand conformance to applicable laws related to state provincial andfederal regulations.
• Analyzing identifying andprioritizing critical gaps or risks and developing strategies andaction plans to improve environmental health and safety programsprocesses and systems inclusive of health and safety environmentand process safety.
• Promoting a strong culturein the sites and subregions by fostering a mindset where necessarycultural changes are viewed as possible and essential tosuccess.
• Developing and delivering trainingprograms with defined frequency to all applicable levels of theorganization reviewing the effectiveness of the training plan andmaking adjustments accordingly.
• Independentlyhandling complex issues with minimal supervision while escalatingonly the most complex issues to appropriatestaff.
• Performing other duties asassigned.

CandidateQualifications:
The minimum qualificationsfor this role include a Bachelors degree in a related field orequivalent experience with a minimum of ten years of related workexperience and experience in team handling. Other minimumqualifications may also apply. Preferred qualifications consist ofa graduate degree in Engineering with a Postgraduate in IndustrialSafety from Premier Universities along with a minimum of 10 yearsexperience in Process and Industrial Safety and good exposure inleading a team.
