    Summary- Trusted senior thought-partner wholeads operations for the BIA ICON (Intercontinental Markets) team. The pillar lead will play an instrumental role in developing the newHyderabad site, from hiring and cultivating top talent to pioneering new ways of working that can supercharge innovation and accelerate delivery to build and scale BIA capabilities. Thepillar lead should be an entrepreneurial talent who thrives under pressure, tight timelines & ambiguity, while providing focus and clear priorities to their team. In addition, the pillar leadwill engage with senior stakeholders across BIA globally to help steer the new site to success

    Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee management of ~20 Hyderabad-based FTEs who provide support to ICON, primarily made up of business analytics roles(steady state phase expected in mid-2025)​
  • Lead hiring and training for BIA's Hyderabad-based ICON team, play a key role in designing career development opportunitiesand creating a culture of connectivity and meaningful work within the team​
  • Maintain close alignment of Hyderabad and ICON BIA priorities and standards by ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputsand implementing ways of working that drive efficiencies within a global operating model​
  • Engage in thought partnership with senior leadership across BIA to establish and develop the Hyderabad site

  • Strong verbal/written skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with & strategically impact senior leadership​
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams, influence cross functionally andmanage a heavy workload​
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills and business acumen, with the ability to identify key findings from disparate datasources to provide recommendations​
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of qualitative design, data analysis, and applied statistics, as well as a solidunderstanding of best practices for forecasting and analytics

    Experience-​
  • We welcome a bachelor's or master's(MBA preferred; quantitative area)​
  • 5+ years pharma industry experience,including consulting companies​
  • Experience managing/leading team(s)supporting global enterprise​
  • Experience building and developing highperforming teams from scratch​
  • Experience interacting with seniormanagement, understanding, anticipatingand fulfilling their insight/ analyticalinformation requirements ​
  • Experience with forecasting/analytics,modeling platforms, data manipulationsoftware and visualization tools (e.g.,Tableau, Microsoft Suite, MicroStrategy,Python, SQL, SAS, etc.)​
  • Knowledge or experience withpharmaceutical industry dataininternational markets, including​
    IQVIA, etc.​
