Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Piping Design Engineer to join our team at May I Help You. As a Piping Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and creating drawings for piping systems in accordance with industry standards and project requirements. This is a full-time position located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate should have more than 10 years of experience in piping design.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• More than 10 years of experience in piping design
• Proficient in using AutoCAD and other piping design software
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards related to piping design
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices
• Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and create detailed piping drawings using AutoCAD or other design software
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop piping designs that meet project requirements
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations throughout the design process
• Review and revise design drawings based on feedback and requirements
• Prepare and present technical reports and documents related to piping design
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of materials for piping projects
• Perform site visits and inspections to verify design feasibility and provide technical support during construction
• Resolve any design issues or conflicts that may arise during the project execution
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in piping design technology
