DevOps Engineer - India - EG Allied Pvt. Ltd.

Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help build and maintain our web platform, which would serve users around the world. The ideal candidate has experience working with cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and is passionate about improving software development processes and delivering high-quality products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD):

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and testing processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD into the software development life cycle.

2. Infrastructure Automation:

• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Automate server provisioning, configuration, and maintenance tasks.

3. Containerization and Orchestration:

• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling applications.

4. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and troubleshoot issues across the entire technology stack.
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting to ensure system availability.

5. Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and operations, to enhance automation and streamline processes.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and provide support for system-related problems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, or Ruby).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
