General business process knowledge in SD & MM.

Integration knowledge with S/4HANA using SAP BTP-CPI

Soft skills/Analytical skills & Other Requirements:

Good analytical skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Very good awareness of entire SDLC and processes related to SDLC. Should also be good in

visualizing and formulating process flow diagrams.

Mandatory: Must be willing to work in any shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM shift or 1:30 PM to

10:30 PM shift (all hours in IST)

Technical: BTP CPI

Mandatory:

Responsible for developing integrations between on premise SAP S/4 HANA and cloud

applications (such as SFDC, SAP Fiori Cloud, etc.), other middleware applications (like:

Informatica cloud, GXS Open text (MFT) tools) and on premise applications (like DB

applications).

Should understand the functional design, prepare technical design, develop interfaces &

mapping in CPI, bug fixing, testing, documentation

Should be familiar with cloud connector setup configurations for connecting CPI to on

premise applications (like: S4 HANA, Mail server, DB, etc.)

Should have worked as a hands-on CPI middleware consultant as an individual contributor.

Must have hands on exposure in BTP IS - Cloud Integration, API Management (API portal,

Business Hub) and Open Connectors.

Using API Portal to call exposed SAP S4 HANA APIs (via APIM)

Should have experience in discovering standard Integration flows and defining custom

Integration flows.

Expertise in handling integrations using various CPI adapters: ODATA, SFTP, FTP, IDOC,

RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST, AMQP, JDBC, XI Proxy Adapters.

Should have experience in handling different data conversion techniques (like json to xml,

csv to xml etc.)

Should have experience in using various CPI pallet options (Integration patterns Message

transformations, Aggregator, Enricher, Splitter, etc.)

Should have experience in SAP integration technologies PI, CPI, EDI, ALE/ IDOC, RFC/BAPI

and API based integrations.

Must have expertise in writing Groovy & Java scripts.

Well experienced in WSDL, JSON, XML, XSD and XSLT technologies.

Must have expertise in Message Mapping techniques (including defining UDFs) and XSLT

mappings.

Must Have knowledge in CPI exception handling, error notification techniques, data

persistence and retry mechanisms.

Should have knowledge in handling security artifacts, encryption, and decryption

mechanisms

Should have both CPI Development Experience and Operation Support experience.

Able to transport Design Objects from non-production tenants to production tenants. (using

any one of the methods: Manual, CTS+, TMS)

Nice to Have:

Working knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) service.

Ability to design and optimize application and data integration processes across disparate

systems

Practical experience implementing service-oriented architecture design and enabling

technologies including messaging, XML, SOAP/REST web services and HTTP

Good to have knowledge on BTP IS B2B/EDI Trading partner management and Integration

Solution Advisory methodology (Exploring MIG, MAG etc.)

Good to have knowledge on Event based Integrations using SAP NetWeaver Event Enablement & Event Mesh (Queues & Topics)

Well versed with Database - SAP HANA/ SAP HANA Cloud and Oracle

Understanding & working knowledge of SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP)- Based

service

Capable of recommending on premise as well as on-cloud integration Best Practices

solutions from application integration standpoint.

Experience in Migration Projects from other middleware (like: Web Methods, GXS) is

preferred

Candidate should be able understand & work on complex custom business requirements.

Should be able to debug and fix issues with minimum TAT.

Candidate should be able to upscale the tech team on the BTP platform.
