    We are looking for Low VoltageComponents and IV Coupler Engineer

    You'll make a difference by

  • Understanding the Customer requirements anddevelop the complete vehicle level and develop the sub system concepts.
  • Collects external (customer, standards) andinternal (rolling stock) requirements, to define Low voltage components(cables, switchgears, IV couplers, Aux cubicles, Low voltage powerdistributions)
  • System specification preparation for differentIV coupler systems for metro, commuter train and locomotive
  • Your tasks include carrying out calculationsand simulations, drawing up specifications for the components technology andevaluating measurement results from other departments.
  • Sizing calculation and selection of cables,switchgears, IV couplers, Aux cubicles, Low voltage power distributions
  • Preparation and review of BOM of electricalequipment's and technical datasheets.
  • You will support in project planning /development projects for rail vehicles.
  • You present the development results andco-ordinate with users, decision makers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Support to the deliverables by proposing QCDimprovements.
  • You support during procurement, manufacturing,commissioning, and validation of the products.
  • You will participate in the continuousdevelopment of competence and exchange ideas with teams on technological topics.
  • Coordination with Other engineering teams suchas Traction, Brake, Circuit Engineering and Mechanical teams to develop theElectrical sub systems and integrate in the vehicle.
  • Responsible for: Technical open issuesresolution, from investigation to modification implementation and problemclosure
  • Desired Skills:

  • You should have minimumexperience of 4 to 5 years along with bachelor's degree in electricalengineering along with experience of Train Systems
  • Furthermore, you have knowledgeof simulation tools / techniques for circuits of power electronics/EMC/EMI/IEC-ENStandards/Earthing concept/ LV Components & Cables sizing/ Rolling Stockcomponents.
  • Good understanding inelectrical connections in the Automatic couplers
  • You are familiar with analysisand review methodologies.
  • You are willing to travel asrequired for project.
  • Good Communication andPresentation Skills
  • You are capable of analysis andlearning and always work Result, Team, and Quality Oriented
