Job Description:

As our Telco Assurance solution family develops innovative software solutions that automate the supervision and self-healing of the Telecommunication infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing reliable, cost effective and high quality software.

Makes design choices and finalizes the design for new feature development.

Owns design, coding, unit/functional testing, integration and documentation activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.

Contributes to test automation.

Collaborates and communicates with internal/external stakeholders to provide an insight into progress on various activities.

Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.

Technical skills:

Strong experience with design and development of SW applications using Java and Dtabases

Hands-on with Web Services and databases

Good exposure to technologies like kafka, zookeeper.

Good knowledge of docker / K8S

Good exposure to software product engineering [ based on agile methodologies]

Experience with Virtualization technologies

Hands-on experience with CICD, DevOps and Agile development methodology

Experience with telecom BSS/OSS software will be an added advantage

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience with software applications testing and automation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

Ability to effectively communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

• More than 7 years experience

General knowledge & capabilities:

• Quick learner to understand existing solution (architecture & functionality)

• Software functional & system testing (test spec, test implementation, test tooling )

• Micro services architecture, deployment and troubleshooting

• Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe)

• Written and verbal communication skills

• Fluent in french and english
