    Description:The job entails developing and implementing sales strategies forgrowth of the Specialty Chemicals products. This position isresponsible for developing new business and managing existingaccounts as assigned. Focus of this role will be on activelypromoting and selling products to achieve the BU s sales targets asper annual operating plan and budget for the financialyear.


    Duties &Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for meeting the top linevolume and value targets for the financial year in line withSpecialty Chemicals Business s growth plan andstrategy.2. Develop plan and implement salesstrategies for new customer acquisition.3.Develop plan and implement sales strategies for achieving maximumsales potential from the existingcustomers.4. Generate monthly quarterly andannual sales forecast and ensure its effectiveimplementation.5. Develop new Key Accountsand ensure sustainable growth & profitability of theseaccounts as per the annual target.6. Carryout product gap analysis on an ongoing basis and provide input forthe Sourcing team to identify newprincipals.7. Develop proper marketintelligence and carry out competitor analysis to identify anddevelop Ankush s unique selling propositions and differentiatorsfor our products basket.8. Carry out marketmapping & potential analysis for the assigned region /territory.9. Ensure regular monitoring ofcollection to ensure no payment over dues as per the agreednorms.10. Coordinate with customer servicesteam / warehouse for all dispatch related matters. Should visit thewarehouse every month to physically check stock positions productquality shelflife related aspects to ensure there is no dead stockat any point in time.11. Ensure 1215 days ofcustomer visits in a planned manner covering all key customers /other customers.12. Participate in allbusiness review meetings sales review meetings as perplan.13. Actively participate in all tradeshows / exhibitions to promote Ankush s products generate newbusiness leads and track and monitor sales levelprogress.


    Qualification andExperience Education:

    B.Tech(Chem.) /M.Sc/B.

    Sc (Chemistry) preferably anMBA Experience: 1015 years experience inSales new Business Development with a Specialty ChemicalDistribution company of repute.

    Hands onexperience in CASE industry with exposure of handling products likedefoamers wetting & dispersing agents preservativesemulsion polymers oligomers photo initiators Silanes Surfacemodifiers & other specialtyproducts.

    Demonstrated strong businessdevelopment and key account managementexposure.
    CompetenciesStrategic sales planning forecasting skills.
    High on execution skills and driven byresults. High on product category knowledgeand understanding of newer industry/producttrends. Sound analytical &problemsolving skills. Should have a growthmindset. Strong customer relationshipmanagement skills. Good communication skills(verbal written as well as listening)
