As part of our growing IOT OmniBlu team, you will create new solutions that meet customers' needs and play an integral role in executing on JBT's digital strategy and development into a best-in-class, technically enabled OEM.

This position acts as point person & decision-maker on the internal product development team for a single product by leading product development and implementation.

Responsibilities PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Own product development implementation of single products in the OmniBlu digital product portfolio Participate in product design sessions and decisions in collaboration with product managers, UI designers, business stakeholders and customers Manage product backlog including prioritization, sizing and development allocation Create user stories including requirements, acceptance criteria for backend and frontend development based on product requirements (functional and non-functional) and design requirements Prioritize user stories based on roadmap priorities and timelines defined by the product manager Manage and update stories and features in Product Board and Microsoft dev ops software tools Participate in scrum events including grooming, planning and daily stand ups Manage production release notes and communicate progress to product manager Provide product demos of newly developed features to internal stakeholders Enter and manage bug requests and prioritize based on scope and criticality Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS AND CANDIDATE QUALITIES Four-year Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science, information systems, business, marketing, communications, engineering or related field 2+ years' experience in backend software development, data engineering, ETL development, preferably Python, JavaScript and tools like Databricks and Apache Spark 2+ years' experience working in scrum or agile teams as product owner or business analyst Experience working with product management and development software tools like Product Board and Microsoft Dev Ops Basic understanding of industry market conditions and trends Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Creative and innovative thinker AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER It is the policy of JBT Corporation to provide equal opportunity for qualified persons and not to discriminate against any applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law at the JBT Corporation location to which this application is submitted.
