    Description

    A Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a type of salesperson who focuses on generating new business opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, prospecting, and qualifying potential customers. Typically responsible for creating and managing leads through the sales pipeline.

    Objectives:

    1. Represent the company's products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs
    2. Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
    3. Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage in sales
    4. Identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbook

    Responsibilities:

    1. Utilize Salesforce, make cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
    2. Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services
    3. Contact and qualify potential customers
    4. Set appointments and follow up on leads
    5. Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
    6. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
    7. Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
    8. Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management

    Requirements and skills

    1. 2-3 years of experience in sales, with a track record of generating leads in Sales development
    2. Strong communication skills via phone and email with experience of prospecting for US customers
    3. Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
    4. Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
    5. Time management and organizational skills
    6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    7. Flexibility and adaptability to change
    8. Willingness to work in US hours
    9. Hands-on experience in managing / handling CRM tools
    10. Experience in SaaS sales is preferable
