OneTap is a US-based B2B SaaS startup; we are looking for a senior full-stack engineer.

Someone with extensive experience developing scalable web applications and a passion for building high-performing, efficient services. It's a startup - so if you've worked in one before, you know what it's like; if you haven't, it's probably not for you

Your code would impact some really big-name clients, such as US professional sports teams (NBA, NHL), top universities, schools, and US local city governments.

We move fast; it's not an easy role, but in the end, you leave with pride and accomplishment of scaling a business to the next milestone (it's a special badge of honor).

TLDR;

MUST MUST have 2+ years of work experience in startups (venture funded or B2B bootstrapped with 3+ people team).

Have been a key contributor to a product with more than 1,000+ DAU.

Knows how startups work - you give it your best, and in return, you expect the best - equity, salary, and impact.

We are not considering any applications with "MNC" experiences; startups are a different world... the environment is drastically different.

Must be an excellent communicator - remote work on Slack, Zoom, and Notion.

You know how a startup works - multiple hats, ownership, and customer empathy.

You can ship fast, and you are quick on your feet.

You value impact; you want to build things that people use and help grow a product to reach a lot of users.

You value craftsmanship; you absolutely cannot ship crap.

Responsibility -

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using , Express, MongoDB, Parse-Server, Redis, and

Build and maintain robust APIs to support the front-end UI while ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and seamless integration.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Lead the integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

Implement security and data protection measures.

Work closely with other team members and stakeholders to improve application functionality and troubleshoot application issues.

Mentor junior developers and assist in their skill development.

Stay informed of emerging technologies and propose their adoption when beneficial.

Skills -

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.

At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development (2+ years in startups).

Strong proficiency with JavaScript, specifically and

Experience with frameworks such as Express and other relevant server technologies.

In-depth knowledge of database management with MongoDB and caching mechanisms like Redis.

Hands-on experience with Parse-Server or similar backend applications.

Proficiency in building and managing RESTful APIs.

Solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Experience with cloud services (DigitalOcean, AWS).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.

Prior experience in leading development projects or teams.
