Job Description :

Qualifications :

5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

Understanding of web, mobile, API testing technologies.

Experience in Manual testing, Functional testing, Regression testing.

Hands-on experience with web automation testing framework and best practices(Selenium, BDD, API, java).

Experience in Mobile automation testing, framework development for iOS/ Android applications.

Should be able to implement, maintain and improve test automation frameworks.

Good knowledge of database concepts (such as MongoDB)

Hands on experience and strong at core Java.

Good understanding of version control systems like git.

Solid experience of test case management, code coverage, and defect management (bug databases) tools, test scheduling, test resource management, test run analysis, and regression environments.

Experience in Test Engineering for distributed applications with service-oriented architecture and event based processing.

Experience in non-functional testing types like API testing using postman or other tools, UI Testing along with any other automation tool is a big plus.

Experience in an Agile development environment is good to have.

Key Responsibilities :

Document and perform manual test cases.

Develop automated test suites.

Actively work with development and infrastructure teams for integrating test automation as an integral part of the Continuous delivery pipeline.

Responsible for tracking and logging defects during execution.

Has understood and adopted effective techniques of parallel testing in an agile product development environment.

Document lessons learned, help maintain a knowledge database.

Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote best engineering practices, bug prevention strategies, testability, and other quality attributes across products.

Should be able to work in close collaboration with Product Management and Product Engineering teams.

Should be able to carry out healthy and constructive criticism with team members, peers and managers for the benefit of the Product.
