    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Static Equipment Engineer to join our team at May I Help You. As a Static Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and maintaining static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and piping systems. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and is open to candidates with more than 10 years of experience in the field.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • More than 10 years of experience in static equipment design and analysis.
    • Strong knowledge of ASME codes, API standards, and other applicable industry regulations.
    • Proficient in using engineering software such as PV Elite, Compress, and AutoCAD.
    • Familiarity with stress analysis techniques and finite element analysis (FEA).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation industry is preferred.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Design and analyze static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and piping systems.
    • Perform calculations, simulations, and tests to ensure the structural integrity and safety of the equipment.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, process engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project execution.
    • Conduct inspections and evaluations to identify equipment issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including equipment specifications, drawings, and reports.
    • Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to static equipment design and maintenance.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to the operations and maintenance teams.
    • Continuously improve equipment performance and reliability through design enhancements and optimization.
    • Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions to contribute to project success.
