If you are looking for an opportunity in Proposals Engineering, then Emerson has a great opportunity for you Based in India, the Senior Engineer - Proposals (Metering Skid) will be responsible to deliver proposals on time, with the right solution, accurate costs and at the right quality to ensure winning chances.

• Responsible for the right selection of meters, sizing activity
• Design a technical solution for the specific customer application
• Participate in proposal kick-off meetings and internal/external technical negotiations
• Able to deliver as expected whilst dealing with ambiguity and lack of available information

You actively seek input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. You encourage others to learn and adopt new technologies. You readily distinguish between what's relevant and what's unimportant to make sense of complex situations.

• Knowledge of applications in chemical, petrochemical, refining, power industries
• Sound technical understanding of Instrumentation
• English language skills - verbal and written
• Hazardous area awareness, USEPA / IECEx / CSA / ATEX / CRN standards, protection / pressurization techniques, Ingress protection, T ratings, Gas groups
• Toxic, corrosive and flammable / explosive gases (LFL / HFL / flash point/ auto-ignition temperatures)
• Knowledge around various systems like Gas and Liquid skids, Density Skids, Pressure Reducing Skids, Truck Loading Skids and various systems like SWAS, CEMS, Emerson and Non Emerson Analyser product knowledge

• Technical Degree (Chemistry, Process Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent work experience
