    Purpose of the team:


    At PhonePe, the HR Product & Analytics function supports scaling of the organization with consistent, data-driven and meaningful systems for people processes.

    Data is central to everything we do at PhonePe, and the purpose of our HR systems is to provide intelligent inputs and guidance to employees and managers for achieving business outcomes and individual growth.


    Expectations from the role:

    • As a product manager in the HR Product & Analytics team,
    • You will be responsible for one or more endtoend HR functional areas for eg: performance management, compensation, learning, employee experience. You will help build process maturity roadmaps for these functional areas progressing from isolated systems to connected intelligent systems. Your goal is to continuously eliminate operational / manual overhead of HR processes and look at how we can consistently leverage technology to improve efficiency and user experience
    • You would work closely and with great empathy for stakeholders ranging from employees, managers, leaders and of course the HR team. You are expected to go as deep as possible in understanding their pain points and partner with them in evolving the process / technology solution.
    • You are expected to map out the process and user journey for your areas simplify and bring more structure and clarity to problem statements which translate into system solutions. Thinking from first principles is key here.
    • You should have strong systems thinking understanding the impact of process / technology decisions and trade offs in order to achieve the best possible outcomes to solve the problem. You think holistically covering all aspects including edge cases and future possibilities
    • You should be abreast with the latest Innovations happening in the Employee Experience and Customer Experience Domain. Using these perspectives, you should be able to link with current pain points and conceptualize use cases / charters for the team
    • Be very hands on, curious to learn and develop a working knowledge of various HR systems understand key workflows, configurations, data models etc. Go deep specifically in direct ownership areas.
    • Strong project / program management
    • You are expected to define requirements, scope and drive execution through various teams by setting up the right review mechanisms. You are expected to set up the appropriate agile methodologies within the team to drive execution. You will be supported by internal technical teams, operations as well as external partners for implementation.
    • You continually measure the success of your solutions basis stakeholder feedback, quantitative metrics and keep iterating and strive for customer delight

    Ideal Candidate should have:

    • Attention to detail, curious to dive deeper into problems, conscientious
    • High analytical ability and quick with data reporting and analysis
    • Working knowledge of HR systems, HR productmarket knowledge (core HRIS and niche products)
    • Fundamentals of HR processes, OD and design thinking
    • Excellent communication skills to proactively communicate with stakeholders
    • Ability to multitask and work on a diverse range of platforms and problems
    • 1 to 3 years of experience in relevant roles Product Management / Implementation in HR Tech Companies like Darwinbox, Rippling etc or Employee Experience / HR Transformation/ HR COE in product oriented companies like Amazon, Microsoft etc
    • Tier 1 MBA and Engineering background, HR MBA is a ++, some prior IT/tech work ex is a ++
