    Job Summary

    We areseeking an Environmental Engineer to join our This Company GlobalManufacturing Support Department (GMSD) to render environmentalprotection and performance aspects for refinery and gas plants.GMSD is responsible for providing the technical consultationsoperational support and troubleshooting benchmarking buildingstrategies business planning and conducting assessment in the areasof safety and environmental compliance cyber security advanceprocess control and optimizations energy and electrical efficiencyprocess engineering reliability and maintenance operationalexcellence etc. GMSD is also instrumental to the implementation ofdigital transformation program of This Company. Your primary roleis to establish and maintain Environmental Management System inaccordance with ISO14001 ensure and improve compliance toapplicable environmental regulations and standards implementcorporate environmental programs and procedures and enhancefacilities environmental performance and business plan development.Environmental Engineer will also be responsible for the overallimplementation and governance of Green House Gas management (GHG)program.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide all cost engineering expertise andcoordinate activities as a group/unit.
    • Conductregular environmental performance monitoring and reportinganalysis.
    • Ensure facility operating andbusiness plans objectives are consistent and inline with companyenvironmental protection policies and standards.
    • Identify deviations and develop solutions to mitigateenvironmental risk and improve environmental compliance.
    • Develop review and implement GHG management programincluding GHG data collection analysis and reporting.
    • Conduct internal GHG assurance audit and provide supportin preparation of facilities GHG 3rd party audits.
    • Monitor solids and chemical disposals to guarantee safeenvironmental protection in compliance with governmentalregulations.
    • Monitor air quality wastewaterand water conservation performance.
    • Establishenvironmental KPIs targets in alignment with company environmentalpolicies and strategies.
    • Develop review anddeploy facilities environmental management system in alignment withISO 14001.
    • Develop and maintain Environmentalprocedures and guidelines.
    • Conductenvironmental audit/assessment.
    • Conductenvironmental performance benchmarking studies among the oil andgas refineries.
    • Organize technical exchangeworkshops among the oil and gas refineries.
    • Develop and deliver training material to promoteenvironmental awareness among refinery personnel.

    Requirements:

    • This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
    • The successfulcandidate should possess a Bachelors degree in environmental orchemical engineering from a recognized university/college and anapproved program. A masters or advanced degree and/or EPI/QEPcertified professional status is preferred.
    • Aminimum of 12 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector isrequired particularly in Refining Chemical and/or NGL FractionationProcesses. Additionally at least 7 years of experience in a directenvironmental management role for a refinery or gas plants isnecessary.
    • Preferred competencies for the roleinclude:
      • Strong management and coordinationskills.
      • Robust analytical and organizationalskills.
      • Excellent technical writing andpresentation skills.
