- Proven experience as an STP Operator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of sewage treatment processes and equipment
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and environmental standards
- Ability to operate and maintain various STP system components
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and work in outdoor environments
- Valid certification or license related to sewage treatment operations
- Operate and maintain the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) system according to established procedures and standards
- Monitor and adjust the treatment process parameters to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues or malfunctions
- Keep accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and laboratory test results
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for required supplies and services
- Assist in training and mentoring junior operators
- Comply with all safety and environmental regulations
- Conduct periodic checks on the quality of treated water
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize plant performance
