    Job Overview

    We are hiring a Machine Design Engineer to join our team at DCS Group. As a Machine Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and efficient machines for our clients. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time role.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Machine Design Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience.
    • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of mechanical principles and materials.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Designing and developing machines and equipment according to client requirements.
    • Creating 2D and 3D models using CAD software.
    • Conducting feasibility studies and analyzing technical requirements.
    • Performing calculations, simulations, and tests to ensure the efficiency and reliability of machine designs.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing teams.
    • Preparing detailed technical documentation and reports.
    • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in machine design technology.
    • Participating in design reviews and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

    Designing and developing systems that can deliver the system as per the expectations.

    Communicating with purchase and assembly teams to make sure the delivery of the project is as per expectations.

    Helping team with BoM, budget, and timeline estimates.

    Maintaining design documents as per standards, Releasing the user manual and machine maintenance documents, and supporting audits.

    Releasing spare requirements to the purchasing team.

    Involving in technical discussions and client site visits whenever required.

    • Must be delivery oriented and must be able to work individually and in a team without any survellience required. Must be proactive and take decisions
