    About the role

    The role is responsible to improve sourcing by developing andnegotiating with current and new suppliers suitable to AAK requirementsand policies. Assess purchasing power by volume, other products etc. inclusive of long-termagreements with vendors.

    Job Description:

    1.Guarantee continuous, reliable, and competitive procurement of Exotic fats (Sal, Lecithin, Kokum etc.) for the AAK production facility and sustainability of all the sourcing of oils and fats for the company

    2. Manage, coordinate, and optimize oil sourcing with clear define sourcing margin.

    3. Consistently review and discuss the forecast with Sales and Supply Chain to efficiently plan procurement of oils.

    4. Continuous interaction and negotiation with vendors to look for the best supply alternatives.

    5. Develop optimum logistics in conjunction with Supply Chain to execute sourcing contracts safely and economically.

    6. Constant study of environmental and seasonal effects on crops and consequent effect on oil prices

    7. Build deep network with Exotic supply chain for all exclusive commodities

    8. Should be able to draft agreement, understanding of system policy and operations

    9. Knowledge of Data Analysis and its management is required

    About you

    Minimum Qualification:

    Master's in business administration with Graduation in Science or Economics or Statistics
    Post-Graduation/certificate course in Commodities' trading/procurement
    CPM (Certified Purchase Manager) or CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management)

    Type of knowledge, experience & skills required:

  • Minimum 2-3 Years of Experience in Procurement of Commodities, preferably oil/ seeds / commodities
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and SAP , Tableau mandatory
  • Knowledge of e-procurement/ quality base purchase / working experience of sustainability
  • Knowledge of local best cost producers for relative commodities and components.
  • Good negotiation and networking skill specially with Brokers/ vendors etc
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers and cross functional.
  • Experience in collecting and ability to analysis data with various structure.
