    Oracle EBS OM Functional Consultant

    Job Description :

    The Oracle EBS OM Functional Consultant plays a pivotal role in implementing, supporting, and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Order Management (OM) modules in alignment with business needs. They are responsible for ensuring the successful integration of the EBS applications with existing systems and business processes, as well as providing functional expertise to optimize the Order Management processes.

    Key responsibilities :

    Participate in the full lifecycle of Oracle EBS OM implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, training, and support

    Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop solutions using Oracle EBS OM module

    Configure and customize Oracle EBS OM to meet specific business requirements, ensuring seamless order capture, fulfilment, and execution processes

    Deep understanding of the IR/ISO, O2C, and P2P cycles.

    Provide functional support for production issues, troubleshoot system errors, and implement timely resolutions to minimize disruptions

    Develop and maintain Oracle EBS OM documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and process flow diagrams

    Conduct end-user training sessions and create training materials to empower business users in utilize Oracle EBS OM functionalities

    Stay updated with Oracle EBS releases and patches, evaluate their impact on existing configurations, and perform necessary upgrade activities

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DBAs, and other functional consultants, to deliver integrated solutions and resolve technical dependencies

    Assist in system testing, performance tuning, and optimization activities to ensure the stability and efficiency of Oracle EBS OM module

    Support business process improvement initiatives by leveraging Oracle EBS OM capabilities and aligning them with industry best Qualifications :


    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

    8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Order Management module, including implementation, configuration, and support

    In-depth understanding of business processes related to order management, pricing, shipping, and inventory management within a global enterpris proven track record of successful Oracle EBS OM implementations, customizations, and integrations with third-party applications

    Proficient in Oracle EBS OM setup, order flows, pricing setups, shipping execution, and interface processes

    Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS data models, APIs, and underlying table structures for troubleshooting and reporting purposes

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, gather requirements and provide functional expertise

    Certification in Oracle E-Business Suite modules or relevant Oracle Cloud certifications is a plus

    Experience in leading small to medium-sized teams and providing mentorship to junior consultants

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and collaborative approach
