    Overview:

    The AreaManager of Mortgage Loans plays a crucial role in overseeing themortgage lending operations within the organization. They areresponsible for managing a team of mortgage sales & deputyofficers ensuring compliance with lending regulations andmaintaining highquality customer service in mortgage loanprocesses.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Oversee themortgage loan process from application toclosing
    • Manage a team of mortgage Salesofficers and support staff
    • Develop andimplement lending strategies to meet organizationalgoals
    • Ensure compliance with state and federalmortgage lending regulations
    • Review and analyzeloan applications and supportingdocumentation
    • Provide guidance on complex loanapplications and exceptions
    • Monitor loanportfolio for delinquencies andcollections
    • Collaborate with underwritersappraisers and legal teams
    • Conduct financialanalysis and risk assessment for mortgage loanapplications
    • Resolve escalated customerconcerns and issues
    • Stay updated on industrytrends regulations and best practices
    • Preparereports and metrics on mortgage loanperformance
    • Assist in the development andimplementation of mortgage loan policies andprocedures
    • Participate in recruiting trainingand performance evaluation of staff
    • Contributeto achieving company targets for loan volume andprofitability

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree inFinance Business Administration or relatedfield
    • 5 years of experience in mortgagelending
    • 3 years of experience inmortgage lending
    • Strong knowledgeof mortgage regulations and compliance
    • Provenexperience in team management andleadership
    • Excellent financial analysis andrisk assessment skills
    • Demonstrated success inloan underwriting and portfoliomanagement
    • Ability to communicate effectivelywith customers staff andstakeholders
    • Proficiency in mortgage lendingsoftware and systems
    • Detailoriented with strongorganizational and time managementskills
    • Certification in Mortgage LoanOrigination (MLO) is a plus
    • Ability to thrivein a fastpaced dynamic environment
    • Strongproblemsolving and decisionmakingabilities
    • Solid understanding of real estateprinciples and property valuation
    • Proactiveapproach to identifying and addressingchallenges
