    Job Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Engineer. As a Purchase Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing materials and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchase and supply chain management, . This is a full-time position based in Chakan, Maharashtra, India.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
    • Proven experience in purchase and supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, principles, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems for procurement.
    • Analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
    • Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting.
    • Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and overall suitability.
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
    • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services, and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
    • Monitor market trends and keep up to date with industry developments and best practices.
    • Optimize purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiencies.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
