- Lead the end-to-end service operations for inverter installations including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
- Develop and implement service protocols, schedules, and quality standards.
- Ensure timely response and resolution of customer service requests and technical issues.
- Manage, train, and motivate the field service engineers and technicians.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Coordinate with technical support, spare parts, and warranty teams.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime, mean time to repair (MTTR), and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular service reports and escalate critical issues to senior management.
- Identify trends and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
- Serve as the primary interface for key customers regarding service and warranty matters.
- Collaborate with sales and project teams to support commissioning and handover processes.
- Manage vendor relationships for spare parts and technical support.
- Drive initiatives to improve service efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance customer experience.
- Stay updated with inverter technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
- Support product development teams with field feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- Certifications in solar PV, power electronics, or inverter technology preferred
- 8–12 years of experience in service management, maintenance, or technical support of solar/industrial inverters or power electronics
- Proven leadership experience managing field service teams
- Strong technical knowledge of inverters, power electronics, and PV systems
- Excellent team management and communication skills
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Customer-centric approach and negotiation skills
- Proficient with service management software and reporting tools
