    Roles and responsibilities:


    • Managing full financial P&L for the category/accounts.
    • Managing Budget deployment and Revenue for the category
    • Candidate should be detailoriented and adept at negotiating vendor contracts, should be able to multitask effectively as well as demonstrate exceptional analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
    • Developing and sustaining longstanding relationships with companyapproved vendors.
    • Analysing data or insights to formulate product, sales and pricing strategies and align with the vendors regarding the same.
    • Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are Onboarded. Will be responsible for determining customer market needs, growing selection across subcategories, Optimizing Vendor Trade Terms, and getting support for Marketing campaigns.
    • Responsible for Pricing and Demand generation. This includes working with other members of the category management team to come up with innovative promotions and site features to improve customer experience.
    • Owning Business metrics and data quality.
    The Ideal Candidate:

    • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, proven experience working as a vendor manager/category manager will be an added advantage.
    • Strong negotiation, management, and decisionmaking skills.
    • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to think strategically and tactically, with excellent attention to detail.
    • Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fastpaced startup environment.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    Preferred Qualifications:


    • A Master's degree especially from IIM, ISB, XLRI, MDI, IMP, SP Jain, IMT Ghaziabad, Great Lakes and other top tier Bschools will be preferred.
    • Experience in Consumerfacing sectors such as ecommerce, Retail and FMCG etc is preferred. )
