Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead SAP BTP CAPM Developer to join our team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience and expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), Fiori/UI5, S/4 HANA, and ABAP.

As a lead developer, you will play a crucial role in leading the technical aspects of SAP projects, mentoring team members, and driving innovation in SAP development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, and overseeing project delivery.
• SAP BTP CAPM Development: Architect, design, and develop solutions using SAP BTP CAPM, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Frontend Development: Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Fiori/UI5, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement data models using CDS (Core Data Services) in CAP, including entities, types, and aspects.

Services Development:
Develop OData V4 services in CAP using NodeJS to expose data and functionality to external applications.

Unmanaged Business Objects:
Implement managed or unmanaged business objects as per project requirements.

• NodeJS Development: Utilize NodeJS for backend development, event handling, and integration tasks.
• Fiori Annotations: Apply Fiori annotations to enhance the UI and provide additional metadata to applications.
• Authorization Concepts: Implement authorization concepts in BTP CAP to ensure data security and compliance.

Premise Systems:
Develop objects to connect with on-premise systems through OData services, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.

• HANA

Cloud Artifacts:
Create HANA Cloud Artifacts using Business Application Studio (BAS) to leverage the capabilities of SAP HANA Cloud.

• External API Calls: Make external API calls, manage responses, and integrate thirdparty services using tools like POSTMAN.
• Destination Creation: Configure destinations for connecting with external systems and services.

Business Hub:
Utilize SAP API Business Hub for discovering, exploring, and consuming SAP APIs.


Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP development, with expertise in SAP BTP CAPM, Fiori/UI5, S/4 HANA, and ABAP.
• Proficiency in NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Strong experience in data modeling using CDS in CAP.
• Experience in developing OData V4 services in CAP using NodeJS.
• Knowledge of managed and unmanaged business objects.
• Familiarity with NodeJS events and Fiori annotations.
• Understanding of authorization concepts in BTP CAP.
• Experience in integrating with onpremise systems through OData services.
• Handson experience in creating HANA Cloud Artifacts using BAS.
• Experience in making external API calls and managing responses.
