Summary

We are looking for a technology evangelist who will be responsible for contributing product development that aligns with Aristocrat's strategic product roadmap. You will be

• Working with Product, Commercial, Delivery, and other technology groups globally as team member of Global Technical Architect team under support and guidance from iGaming Chief Architect.

• Collaborating with global stakeholders to drive RGP as main RGS platform to support business objectives.

• Contribute to strategic products for iGaming like Convergence (online/offline seamless player experiences).

• Analyse existing systems to ensure security and efficacy.

• Drive technology which is aligned to organization vision.

• Leading the development team and ensuring that they follow industry-standard best practices

• Evaluating and improving the tools and frameworks used in software development

• Troubleshooting issues within the software systems

• Recommend improvements or alternative technologies to better meet business needs.

• Design, review and integrate new systems.

• Provide infrastructure architecture leadership.

• Engage stakeholders, understand their needs, and then translate those needs into a minimum viable product.

• Provide ongoing advice to projects around technical solutions, best practices, and efficiencies.

• Continuous review of current environment to detect deficiencies, recommend, plan and implement solutions for improvement.

• Develop, implement and practice a robust, quantitative technology evaluation process.

• Review design documents to ensure that they follow the standards.

• Maintain awareness and expertise of the latest cloud and infrastructure, orchestration, and automation visualization technologies.

• Drive innovation and improve performance of the applications in scope.

• Provide recommendations and implement ways to modernize technology to meet business demands in a cost-effective manner.

What you'll do

· 15+ years' experience working in enterprise grade software development processes.

· Minimum 5 years in designing the architecture of high throughput software solutions.

· Experience of guiding strong technical teams.

· Experience in creating whitepapers, technology propositions, HLD, LLD and other project artifacts.

· Good knowledge of design patterns and their applications.

· Up to date with the technology advancements and idea of their applicability.

· Hands on experience in development, devops and project management processes and activities.

· Hands on experience in JAVA at least 2 large scale application development.

· Hands on experience with Typescript/Javascript will be preferred.

· Ability to write architectural design documents or review design documents provided by others.

· Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs.

· Experience in following technologies ideal

o Docker

o Kubernetes

o MongoDB

o Redis/RabbitMQ

o ELK stack

o Database (RDBMS/No SQL)

· Experience in application architecture using cloud native technologies.

· Hands on experience with GCP/AWS.

· Experience with an Agile development methodology, preferably Scrum

What we're looking for
