- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the alcohol industry, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts, as well as acquiring new clients. Set sales targets, develop strategies to achieve them, and monitor performance against goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with the company's overall objectives. This may involve market analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to execute plans effectively.
- Product Knowledge and Education: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and product offerings. Educate clients on the features and benefits of the company's products, conducting tastings, and providing training as necessary.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements with key accounts. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to forecast demand and identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, highlighting performance metrics and actionable insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages in India.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within the alcohol industry.
- Strong understanding of the Indian alcohol market, including regulatory requirements and distribution channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
