    Procurement – Category Manager Job description:

    Position Overview:

    Looking for an experienced sourcing and category management professional to support the United States supplier and spend portfolio. Perform category management including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract, performance, and risk management, and work with Category Managers in understanding global spend and identifying opportunities to increase quality and improve value for money. Perform procurement reporting and analysis of management information to identify potential improvement opportunities. Identify innovative procurement solutions that provide cashable savings and process efficiencies for the organization. Address vendor issues to ensure the highest level of service delivery. Maintain contractual and business relationships with vendors. Facilitate implementation of procurement change initiatives within the category to improve business performance. Develop best procurement practices to lead and manage procurement teams. This is an exciting new position created to support our expanding coverage of over $400M in addressable spend.

    Skill set: Exposure to category management including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract, performance, and risk management.

    The success of the role will be driven by:

    · Developing and executing strategies for the acquisition of goods and services across multiple spend categories, including but not limited to the following: Travel and Events, Marketing, Staff Augmentation, HR, Benefits, Office Supplies, Technology

    · Lead efforts to improve purchasing and invoice processes to drive cost savings while managing internal stakeholder engagement over multiple business operating companies

    · Understand the supply market and develop sourcing plans

    · Interface with key stakeholders to build relationships, understand needs, identify savings opportunities, and mitigate risk

    · Conduct RFx's and perform pricing analysis

    · Negotiate with suppliers and manage ongoing performance

    · Redline contracts with an understanding of acceptable and preferred commercial terms and risk tolerance

    · Collaborate with Legal, Enterprise Security, and Risk groups during supplier and contract review

    · Assist with vendor on-boarding / off-boarding and supplier relationship management

    · Ensure compliance with company policies and control framework

    · Responsible for a portion of overall cost Savings and Avoidance targets

    · Responsible for the management of applicable e-catalogs

    To be successful in this role:

    • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant sourcing experience, required
    • 4-6 years of experience with financial ERP systems (such as SAP, JDE, and PeopleSoft)
    • Contract review and negotiation
    • Ability to lead RFx projects
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Microsoft Office and Google Suite
    • Experience with Procure to Pay software (Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, etc)
    • Exposure to cloud-based purchasing tools (such as Coupa, and Ariba)
    • Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment
    • Detail oriented
    • Provide exceptional cross-functional customer service

    Shift Timings:

    · 17:30 pm to 02:30 am IST

    Reporting to:

    · Sr. Manager/Onshore Supervisor

    Qualifications:

    ● Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Operations, Business Management or related field, required

    ● Procurement/sourcing certifications (e.g. Certified Purchasing Professional), preferred

    ● Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel

    ● Knowledge of Randstad operations and systems is an asset
