- Review, develop and deliver training courses as required to ensure safe vessel operations and marine environmental protection in accordance with regulatory, owner and company-specific requirements.
- Maintain proper records and documentation of training activities.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and client satisfaction and rectify any shortcomings as soon as possible in accordance with the Quality Management System requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and proactively provide solutions to emerging industry challenges to ensure the company's competitive advantage.
- At least 2 years' sailing experience in the rank of Chief Engineer issued by an IMO White-list Country and
- At least one year's relevant industry experience ashore, involved with seafarers' training and electronic engine (ME-C/ RT Flex) experience
- Past seafarers' training experience is desirable
- Tanker experience is essential for Master applicants
- Chemical tanker experience is desirable for Master applicants
- LNG/ LPG/ Dual-fuel vessel sailing experience is desirable
- Excellent presentation skill with good command of written and spoken English
- Effective communicator and strong interpersonal skill to interact well with all levels of employees on board and ashore
- Well-organized, adaptable, agility to embrace changes and good problem-solving skills
- Computer literate with particular emphasis on the various modern training tools to facilitate an engaging learning environment
- Delivery of Engine-related courses, including Engine Room Resource Management, ME-C familiarization, Environmental Compliance training etc.
- Engine simulator
- LCHS experience desirable
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic training
- Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation training
- Leadership courses, including Maritime Resources Management
