    Job Overview

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchasing Manager (Domestic). In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's domestic purchasing activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of aluminium raw materials and supplies from all over India.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the metal manufacturing industry.
    • Strong knowledge of domestic procurement processes and practices.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
    • Solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles.
    • Proficiency in using purchasing software and tools.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple procurement activities.
    • Ability to work independently and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
    • Confident in cold calling and be flexible to travel if needed

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to meet the company's objectives.
    • Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with key vendors.
    • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stockouts.
    • Collaborate with the production team to understand their material requirements and ensure timely delivery.
    • Manage the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.
    • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement in supplier quality and delivery performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to optimize procurement processes and drive efficiency.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and developments to ensure the company remains competitive in the market
