Overview:

The HVAC SiteEngineer plays a crucial role in overseeing the installationmaintenance and repair of HVAC systems at various job sites. Theyare responsible for ensuring that HVAC projects are completed ontime within budget and in compliance with industry standards andregulations.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Collaborate withproject managers to develop HVAC projectplans
• Oversee the installation andcommissioning of HVAC systems
• Conduct qualityinspections and troubleshoot issues to ensure systemefficiency
• Prepare project progress reports andcommunicate updates to stakeholders
• Coordinatewith subcontractors and suppliers for equipment and materialprocurement
• Provide technical expertise andsupport to the project team
• Ensure compliancewith safety and environmentalregulations
• Manage project documentation andrecordkeeping
• Conduct site surveys andassessments
• Resolve any design or installationdiscrepancies
• Participate in client meetingsand address their concerns
• Train site staff onHVAC system operation and maintenance
• Identifyand implement costsaving measures
• Contribute tothe development of best practices and standard operatingprocedures
• Stay updated with industry trendsand advancements

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelors degree inMechanical Engineering or related field
• Provenexperience in HVAC system design installation andmaintenance
• Familiarity with relevant codes andstandards (ASHRAE IMC IECC)
• Proficiency inAutoCAD and other design software
• Strongproject management skills
• Excellentproblemsolving abilities
• Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills
• Abilityto work effectively in a fastpacedenvironment
• Knowledge of energy efficiencyprinciples
• Certification in HVAC system designor installation (e.g. LEED APNATE)
• Understanding of building automationsystems
• Attention to detail andaccuracy
• Ability to interpret technicaldrawings and specifications
• Knowledge ofconstruction practices and methods
• Commitmentto workplace safety
