    Requirements and Responsibilities:

    As a DevOps Engineer at Ness, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering team, focusing on designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on AWS. Your proficiency in AWS services, notably EMR, Data Glue, EKS, OpenSearch, and Keyspace, will enable you to create scalable, reliable, and effective solutions for our applications and workloads.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Design and deploy Cloud Solutions: Create and execute resilient and scalable cloud architectures on AWS utilizing services such as EMR, Data Glue, EKS, OpenSearch, and Keyspace.
    • Automate Infrastructure: Develop and sustain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions leveraging tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for efficient provisioning and management of AWS resources.
    • Implement CI/CD: Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using ADO, Git Lab, and AWS CodePipeline to automate software delivery processes.
    • Optimize Performance: Collaborate with development teams to enhance the performance and scalability of applications on AWS, particularly Spark workloads on EMR.
    • Monitor and Log: Set up monitoring and logging systems using AWS CloudWatch, Amazon CloudWatch Logs, and AWS X-Ray to ensure visibility into application and infrastructure health.
    • Enforce Security Best Practices: Implement security protocols and compliance standards throughout AWS environments, including IAM policies, VPC setups, and data encryption.
    • Ensure Disaster Recovery and High Availability: Develop and implement disaster recovery and high availability solutions on AWS to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.

    Your Qualifications:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • Extensive experience with AWS services, specifically EMR, Data Glue, EKS, OpenSearch, and Keyspace.
    • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
    • Over 8 years of hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using ADO, Git Lab, and AWS CodePipeline.
    • Solid grasp of networking principles, security best practices, and AWS services.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and adeptness at troubleshooting complex issues in a distributed setting.
    • Excellent communication skills and the capability to collaborate across diverse teams.
    • AWS certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
    • Experience with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps procedures.
    • Knowledge of database technologies such as Amazon RDS and Apache Cassandra.
