We are seeking a dedicated Academic Counselor with expertise in tech career counseling to join our team.

As an Academic Counselor at Coursevita, you will play a pivotal role in guiding learners towards successful careers in the technology industry by providing comprehensive counseling and support services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct individualized career counseling sessions with learners to assess their interests, skills, and career aspirations.
Provide personalized guidance on educational pathways, training programs, and certification options relevant to the technology industry.
Assist learners in developing career goals and creating action plans to achieve them, including resume building and interview preparation.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement career development initiatives, workshops, and events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with learners, acting as a trusted advisor throughout their educational journey.
Monitor learner progress and provide ongoing support and encouragement to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and learner interactions in the company's database.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in career counseling, particularly in the technology sector.
Strong understanding of tech careers, including software development, cybersecurity, data science, and IT support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with learners.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in using counseling techniques and assessment tools to guide career decisionmaking.
Familiarity with online learning platforms and educational resources is a plus.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven sales experience, preferably in the education or technology sector. Strong understanding of the education industry, including corporate training, professional development, and vocational education markets. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events (if applicable).
