The Role and Responsibilities Overview:
Responsible for safe delivery of technical engineering tasks
Indirect supervision of discipline engineers
Perform engineering support in detailing work scope methodologies including equipment specialist tooling specification compiling reviewing design inputs functional requirements Site based duties include client company assigned engineer responsible for all aspects of work scope implementation in accordance with client company procedures Creation of technical outputs including drawings calculations procedures Responsible for providing technical guidance across EnerMech business lines as required Main Responsibilities Activities Contributing to teams delivering clients projects management communication with 3rd party suppliers sub-contractors EnerMech service departments Mentoring direct junior technical engineers To provide innovative designs solve Client needs Supervise testing unit designs Assistance updating maintenance drawings records proactive system improvement initiatives Quality Management System Provide drawings calculations support designs Checking approval drawings data Preparation bills materials purchase requisitions Performing offshore site surveys acquire input data Responsible progress inputting update where required Management hours jobs Control issue documentation company standards Drafting issuing project change documentation capturing scope growth variations Identify risks project escalate or manage appropriately You Are Recognised Qualifications Experience Essential Degree Higher National Engineering qualification equivalent experience willingness develop further education Good computer skills competent Word Excel Auto cad Ability execute engineering calculations MATHCAD MATLAB 3D computer modelling simulation software Technical author Preferred Hons Degree Masters Mechanical engineering similar qualification relevant experience Professional membership IMechE IMarE IET Other Behaviours Personal Qualities Essential Communicates clear standards performance Encourages team accept change normal part continuous improvement Provides technical coaching professional guidance assists development others Sought out technical expertise within EnerMech Assists conducting training area expertise Demonstrates good knowledge understanding HSE behaviours expectations Intervenes correct poor performance non-compliance safety policies Looks opportunities present new ideas approaches Thinks practical impact own ideas other parts business Manages progress schedule monitors quality standards Has knowledge awareness EnerMeachs structure strategy Understands implications broad decisions budgets costs Preferred Conducts supervises complex tasks advanced knowledge key skills thorough working knowledge range key skills Uses expertise effectively challenge current policies develops new techniques approaches Advises guides others Encourages employee involvement HSSE Challenges traditional thinking promotes demonstrates new ideas Generates new ideas putting ideas wider context Understands how disciplines use resultsdata Shares gives credit others network Works develop team spirit co-operation Diversity Inclusion EnerMech dedicated fostering diverse inclusive organisation Believe diversity enriches team welcome applications candidates backgrounds cultures identities Have good organisational time management skills ability meet deadlines effective communication skills
