    W Health has set up India's first Venture Studio called 2070 Health an innovation platform that builds transformative healthcare companies from scratch by discovering disruptive opportunities in whitespaces. Distinct from the accelerator approach, our venture studio is closely involved in idea generation, day-to-day operations, and strategic decisions of growing the new business. Companies incubated in the last 15 months- Elevate Now, Nivaan Care, Reveal Healthtech, BabyMD

    Role

    Lead the success of studio's portfolio companies and deliver on KPIs. A result-oriented problem solver, who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has an ability to leverage their entrepreneurial skills, cross-functional teams, and network to drive results. Play the role of an operating partner and mentor to founders of individual companies and help create value in 0 to 1 and 1 to 10 phase of venture building.

    This person should be able to anticipate and identify opportunities to grow the business of the portfolio companies both within and outside the organization. A team player, who is comfortable working across Product and technology, Growth, Marketing & Operations. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully scaling businesses within the healthcare sector.

    Responsibilities

    :70% of your work will be focused on portfolio companies you will manage, :30% will be studio-focused capability building
    • Product-Market fit and early growth:
    • Help founders achieve product market fit, positive unit economics, and scalable go-to-market channels via defining KPIs, building MVP, running rapid experiments, iterating basis feedback, and tracking progress against KPIs.
    • Help identify the right distribution channels for ventures and streamline marketing operations (online and offline)
    • Analyse financial reports and key operating indicators week on week to make informed business decisions.
    • Product execution
    • Work closely with the Product teams to help create the right web and mobile product for studio ventures (need for each company will be different)
    • Provide feedback on an ongoing basis to make sure the tech product is best-in-class. Help benchmark against other healthtech products in the market
    • Managing features, priorities, and positioning, of various products to maximise success
    • Owning all product metrics, data dashboards and user research to iterate and drive strong user engagement
    • Creating a clear vision for the Venture Studio's Product Strategy with all stakeholders and working with cross-functional teams incl. biz. leaders, UI/UX, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Ops
    • Business development
    • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships, which can help in growth of the portfolio organisations. Help unlock JVs and M&A opportunities wherever appropriate
    • Create a network of pharma companies for co-creating solutions for them, establish pharma sales relationships as applicable, etc.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as hospitals, insurance companies, industry experts, etc.
    • Operational Excellence:
    • Work closely with studio cross-functional teams to align operations with overall business objectives
    • Collaborate with Founders to develop and execute plans that can help achieve PMF and make companies ready for external fundraise. Act as a sounding board and provide guidance on day-to-day problem solving.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in a leadership role with P&L responsibility, preferably within the healthcare industry - traditional healthcare or healthtech start-ups
    • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of successfully launching and growing businesses
    • Large network of founders and industry leaders
    • Strong understanding of healthcare market trends, regulations, and competitive landscape
    • Master's degree in business (MBA), healthcare administration, or a related field is desirable but not required
