    As a structural engineer, you will play a key role in the entire construction process, from initial design to final implementation. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in delivering high-quality and structurally sound buildings. Join our team and contribute to the success of our construction projects.

    Objectives of this role

    · Apply technical knowledge to meet all stakeholder expectations

    · Ensure that each completed project meets local codes, regulations, and quality standards

    · Deliver structurally sound designs capable of withstanding routine use, the elements, and inspection

    · Monitor project progress, ensuring it's completed on time and within budget

    · Set design protocols according to relevant codes and standards

    · Advise civil engineers on best practices in building design and execution

    Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

    • Prepare reports, designs, and drawings.
    • Make calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses.
    • Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately.
    • Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
    • Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval.
    • Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
    • Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers.
    • Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness.
    • Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations.
    • Mentor Civil Engineers and facilitate a holistic understanding as to the scope and plan for projects
    • Work closely with building department within the company to ensure hardware is available for projects and working properly
    • Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and develop steps for their proper execution
    • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved
    • Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges
    • Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team
    • Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives

    Qualifications for Structural Engineer

    • Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred
    • Experience developing schematics for structures in accordance with client specifications and safety standards
    • Project development and leadership skills are essential
    • Professional work experience in developing blueprints and designs for proposed structures
    • Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems
    • Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
    • Experience with software engineering, customer experience and design architecture
    • Advanced understanding of build materials, techniques and processes
    • Up to date understanding of best practices regarding building safety measures.
