Overview:
The Ecommerce Specialist plays a crucial role in driving the online sales and digital presence of the company. They are responsible for optimizing the online customer journey, increasing website traffic, and enhancing the overall ecommerce experience to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute ecommerce strategies to drive online sales and customer engagement
- Manage and optimize ecommerce platforms to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Utilize analytics and data to monitor website performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement SEO best practices to increase online visibility and traffic
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns to promote products and increase conversions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of ecommerce initiatives with overall business goals
- Monitor industry trends and implement best practices for ecommerce success
- Optimize product listings and content to enhance discoverability and appeal
- Manage online customer service and support to ensure a positive online shopping experience
- Analyze customer behavior and feedback to improve the online shopping journey
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Proven experience in ecommerce management, preferably in a similar industry
- Demonstrated understanding of ecommerce platforms and technology
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques
- Experience in digital marketing and online customer acquisition
- Understanding of customer experience principles and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving ecommerce landscape
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software
- Up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ecommerce
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Certification in ecommerce or related fields is a plus
