    Senior Principal Consultant - RunOps (SRE, AIOPS, GenAI)

    We are looking for candidates with deep knowledge and experience with IT infrastructure (on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments) and operations, and more importantly, how to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, service quality, and agility with automation.

    This role will be part of the Tech Modernization Practice which helps clients optimize and transform their infrastructure and operations.

    In the realm of infrastructure and operations, the role will focus on defining compelling offers to clients, crafting differentiating IP (demo, thought leadership, accelerators), leading presales and building community of practice.


    ResponsibilitiesInfra and Ops Automation Thought Leadership:

    • Have an in-depth understanding and experience with automating on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, and private clouds) deployment, maintenance, ITSM, and operations.
    • Have strong knowledge and experience in automation levers like Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), AIOPS, DevSecOps automations, GitOps automation, Environment-as-a-Service, FinOps, ITSM and others.
    • Has been viewed as an automation thought leader by clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Experience in translating thought leadership in compelling offers and services, including differentiating IP such as automation frameworks, accelerators, reference architectures

    Presales and Business Development:

    • Engage Genpact Tech Sellers, Growth Community (Account Execs) and Delivery Leaders in initiating and participating in client conversations to understand and discover client context, requirements and how Genpact can help optimize and transform their operations and ITSM with automation.
    • Be lead solutions architect in pre-sales, crafting proposals in realm of cloud platform and operations

    Automation Architecture and Solutioning:

    • Lead a team of IT and domain experts to architect, design, and implement innovative implement automated solutions for managing and optimizing infrastructure and operational processes.
    • Lead advisory and consulting in defining an automation roadmap that helps a client achieve desired outcomes given their context.
    • Ensure solutions align with best practices, standards, security, compliance, and non-functional requirements.
    • Lead in the architecture, design, evaluation, testing, and prototyping of the transformative enablers (i.e., in runbook automation, monitoring, SRE, AIOPS, automation, FinOps).

    Cloud Operations Guild Development:

    • Coach cloud operations architects and engineers in the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills and solutioning/architecting competency needed to help Genpact clients.
    • Work with guild to develop reusable IP, including frameworks, blogs, white papers.


    Minimum Qualifications / Skills· Bachelor's degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.· Relevant years' experience in infrastructure and operations; with leading automation.· Relevant years' experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), private and hybrid-cloud; design, deployment, operations, and automation.· At least relevant years in pre-sales and/or practice capacity or role.· Hands-on experience and deep knowledge of infrastructure and operations automation enablers: ITSM (e.g., ServiceNow), infrastructure-as-a-code, DevSecOps/GitOps toolchain, O11y and observability platforms, Site Reliability Engineering, AIOPS, runbook automation and many others.· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.· Ability to handle multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.· Ability to communicate with people of varying levels of technical ability; comfortable with CXO and CXO-1 levels.· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; as well as build a team.· Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.

    Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

    • Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role.
    • In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude.
