    Job Overview

    We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team at SKF Boilers & Driers Pvt Ltd. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our paddy processing plants. This is a senior-level position requiring 7 to 10 years of experience. The job is based in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India and is a full-time role.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
    • Proven experience as a Design Engineer with a focus on manufacturing
    • Strong proficiency in CAD software, specifically SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD Mechanical
    • Knowledge of Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) methodologies
    • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Value Engineering (VAVE)
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Design and develop innovative solutions for paddy processing plants, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
    • Perform detailed mechanical design calculations and simulations to validate the performance of the proposed solutions
    • Create 2D and 3D models using CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD Mechanical
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to ensure successful implementation of designs
    • Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) to identify and mitigate potential risks
    • Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise and recommendations
    • Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and value engineering initiatives to optimize product design and manufacturing processes
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in design engineering
