- Write, test, and troubleshoot PLC Programs for large Cable/rubber extrusion equipment.
- HMI Screens Development: Create Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications for operators to interact with and monitor equipment for large Cable/rubber extrusion equipment.
- Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with Mechanical and Electrical components.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of control system designs, modifications, and troubleshooting procedures, as well as develop instructional and training manuals where required.
- You will be responsible for delivering multiple onsite projects. It can vary from project to project if it is as the overall PM or as a Sublevel PM and Service, Electrical Supervision, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, PLC programming, Retrofitment projects, etc.,
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and specification.
- Identify high-risk tasks or issues and drive to resolution on time.
- Analysing project specifications, developing work schedules, and delegating tasks to different teams on field.
- To trouble-shoot and solve complex problems.
- Conducting research on field developments and networking with other engineers and professionals.
- Liaising with clients and writing up reports to responsible team leaders
- Scheduling meetings and training sessions when necessary.
- 3-4 years of proven Experience In writing, testing, and troubleshooting PLC/HMI Programs.
- Must have Expertise: 3+ years of Rockwell Allen Bradley (Studio 5000 & FT View Studio) or Siemens Step 7 (TIA Portal, WinCC) PLC & HMI programming experience.
- Knowledge of any other PLC's will be added advantage.
- The ability to program/write code in the Ladder / STL logic from scratch.
- Strong ability with motion control programming/commissioning (Servos, VFD, etc.).
- Proficient with a variety of field bus networks including but not limited to DeviceNet, Ethernet I/P, Profibus, ProfiNet, etc. a plus.
- We expect that you have a Diploma or Bachelor level education within relevant academic field (e.g. Engineering or Technology in Electrical\Electronics\Instrumentation or Mechatronics or any relevant).
- 2-3 years of proven experience in commissioning and supervising medium to high complexity Field projects.
- Experience in working with HV / LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, large variable speed drives.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical testing procedures for primary and secondary equipment such as protection relays, circuit breakers, disconnectors, current and voltage transformers.
- Experience in E-Plan or MDT or any Electrical Schematic tools.
- Solid language skills (verbal and written) in English are required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Have good communication & interpersonal skills targeting the relevant audience in the organization, across cultures.
- Be well organized and disciplined in implementing projects
- Be innovative and outgoing team member.
- Be experienced in supervising global multi-cultural teams.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical engineering principles.
- Be knowledgeable on Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Heating systems.
